General Information
- For detailed information about this event, please see the Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society website. Below is a summary of those details:
- All shows will begin at 10:00 pm sharp and are 25 minutes long
- admission is free
- The event will be simulcast on ROCK 101.1 FM.
- The best viewing points are from English Bay, Jericho, Kits, Stanley Park and West Vancouver. However, English Bay beats the rest hands-down: you're right in front of the fireworks barge and the loudspeakers for the music simulcast are right behind you. Plan to set out a blanket by 7:00 pm if you want to watch from English Bay.

Accommodation
Travelling to Vancouver for the fireworks? If you need a place to stay around the area, you can check availability and book your stay right here. But first, see the Vancouver hotel reviews.
Restaurants with a view
There are several options for viewing the fireworks from a comfortable, licensed
venue; whether you'll be able to get a seat at one of them is another question.
People usually reserve weeks in advance, but there may well be something still...
Here's a partial line-up of places I'm aware of:
- The Boathouse restaurant --- has a huge rooftop
deck that directly faces the fireworks. Serves great seafood and snacks and a
bevy of beverages. However, it is often commandeered by VIPs and may be hard to
get at. There's also great views from inside the restaurant. Phone: 604-669-2225
- Milestones restaurant --- big deck out front. Big drink selection. Food
is tasty, plentiful and varied. Their view may be partially obscured by trees.
Phone: 604-662-3431
- Denman Street Freehouse --- also with a deck out front. Possibly the deck
with the best view in the city. Phone: 604-801-6681
- Raincity Grill restaurant --- fancy food and fancy prices. Great deck and
likely one of the better views, though it's set back from the beach behind a park.
Phone: 604-685-7337
- Pacific Crab Company --- Outdoor deck overlooking
the street and the hundreds of thousands of onlookers. Phone: 604-633-CRAB
